Q&A Sessions
Shared multi-attendee Q&A sessions. First booker sets the time; later registrants join the same session. Free or Stripe-paid, with a built-in non-CICC disclaimer.
What you can do
Shared sessions, one date per service
Publish a Q&A service with the days of the week you offer. The first booker on any open date picks the start time; everyone else joining that date joins the same session. Cancel-drops-to-zero frees the date for someone else to first-book a new time.
Built-in non-CICC disclaimer
Every attendee acknowledges a system-supplied bilingual disclosure before they can register: the session is informational, not a CICC-regulated consultation, no consultant-client relationship forms, and confidentiality of other attendees applies. The acknowledgement text and version are stamped on each registration row for audit.
Free or paid via Stripe Connect
Set the price on the service. Free sessions confirm immediately; paid sessions route through Stripe Checkout via your connected account, with booking-side discount codes supported. The 2.5% platform fee applies on processed payments like every other surface.
Auto-Google-Meet for online sessions
Online Q&As materialise a Google Calendar event with an auto-generated Meet link the moment the first booker picks a time. In-person sessions render your business address on the confirmation email instead. Either way, you get a 10-minute desktop popup on your own calendar.
Per-service capacity caps
Leave capacity unlimited or cap it per session. The capacity check is server-side and enforced on both the first-booker (multi-attendee parties cannot oversubscribe at creation) and join-existing paths.
Two reminder emails per session
A 24-hour reminder fires the day before (sweeps at 12:02 UTC daily) and a 30-minute imminent reminder fires the same hour (sweeps every 5 minutes). Both arrive in the registrant's chosen language and carry the cancel link.
One-click attendee cancel
Every email carries a one-time-token cancel link. Clicking it cancels the registration, fires a confirmation, and (if it was the last attendee on the session) tears the whole session down; no operator action needed.
Tenant cancel-with-refund
From your dashboard, the session detail view exposes a single Cancel button. Paid registrations are refunded automatically via Stripe Connect, free registrations are marked cancelled, every attendee gets a cancellation email, and the calendar block tears down. Refund failures are surfaced for operator follow-up.
Per-service session language
Choose the language each Q&A service runs in. English and Quebec French are available on every tier; Premium unlocks the other eight Phase 10C languages including three right-to-left. The bilingual session-language notice renders on the public booking page regardless of the visitor's locale.
Tenant notifications you can switch off
Get an email on every registration by default (toggle off per service if a popular session would flood your inbox). Routes to the service owner's email under Team Mode, otherwise to the company-level contact.
How it works
- 1
Add a Q&A service from Dashboard → Services. Pick the days of the week you'll host, the language, and (optionally) a capacity cap and per-attendee price.
- 2
Share your public booking page. Visitors pick the Q&A service, acknowledge the disclaimer, and either book the first slot on an open date or join an existing session another attendee has already opened.
- 3
Host the session at the scheduled time. Two automatic reminders go out (24 h and 30 min before). Cancel from the dashboard if anything changes, and Stripe refunds fire automatically.
Pricing
Included on every tier: Basic ($29 CAD/mo) and Premium ($69 CAD/mo). The 2.5% platform fee on Stripe-processed payments applies on paid sessions. Premium unlocks the eight non-EN-FR session languages (Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian, Persian, Hindi, Urdu); EN and Quebec French are available on Basic too.
