Pricing FAQ

What does the 14-day free trial include?

When you sign up, you pick Basic or Premium and choose to start a 14-day free trial of that tier. The trial gives full access to the chosen tier with no credit card required. On day 14, you can subscribe to keep going, switch tiers, or let the trial end. If the trial ends without subscribing, your data stays viewable but new actions are locked until you subscribe.

What is the 2.5% platform fee?

When a client pays you through Stripe inside RCIC App (a booking deposit, a Single Bill, an event ticket, a written consultation), Investatech takes 2.5% of the transaction as a platform fee. Stripe's own processing fee is separate. Offline payments (e-Transfer, cheque, wire, cash) carry no platform fee. The 2.5% applies on every tier.

How do team-member seat add-ons work?

Seat add-ons are Premium-only. Once you're on Premium, the Owner can invite team members through Settings → Team and choose an Assistant seat ($19/mo or $190/yr) or an RCIC seat ($49/mo or $490/yr). Each seat is charged separately and prorated to the current billing period. The self-serve cap is 10 total users (Owner plus 9 seats). For 11+ users, contact us for Enterprise.

What's the difference between an Assistant seat and an RCIC seat?

An Assistant seat ($19/mo) is for non-RCIC team members: paralegals, administrators, intake coordinators. They can manage bookings, events, and personal invites, and they can prepare Service Agreements but cannot sign them. An RCIC seat ($49/mo) is for Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants. They can be named on Service Agreements and sign them. The Owner grants RCIC eligibility when inviting, and the member self-attests their licence on their profile before they can be named on agreements.

Can I switch between Basic and Premium later?

Yes. Upgrading from Basic to Premium charges the prorated difference immediately. Downgrading from Premium to Basic takes effect at the end of your current billing period (you must remove non-Owner members and finalize or cancel any in-flight Service Agreement drafts first).

Are prices in CAD?

Yes. All RCIC App prices are in Canadian dollars, exclusive of tax. Annual billing equals monthly times ten, which is two months free.
