TRP Intake

A temporary resident permit application turns on two things an officer weighs against each other: why this person needs to come to or stay in Canada, and what risk admitting them carries. TRP Intake collects the client's own account of both, in a guided questionnaire they can answer in any of eleven languages. If they have already filled an H&C or Express Entry intake with you on the same matter, most of it arrives answered before you send it.

What you can do

  • It asks what IRCC actually weighs

The question set follows IRCC's own program delivery instructions for temporary resident permits, so the form collects the material an assessment turns on: current status and immigration history, the compelling need to enter or remain, and, only where they apply, criminality and health. Nothing asks the client to argue law or predict an outcome. They describe what happened and what they need; the submissions stay yours to write.

  • Their earlier intake fills most of it in

If the client already completed an H&C or Express Entry intake with you on this matter, the TRP form starts from it. Structured facts are copied across field by field. The narrative questions are drafted from the client's own earlier words, adapted to the question being asked, never invented: where their prior answers do not support a question, it stays blank rather than being filled with something plausible.

  • Nothing is applied behind your back

Every prefilled value arrives as a proposal, tagged with where it came from and how confident we are, and you accept, edit, or discard each one before the invitation is sent. The client then sees which answers came from their earlier form and has to confirm or change them before that section counts as complete. Prior testimony is a draft, not a record.

  • Eleven languages, chosen by the client

The client picks their language on the first screen and can switch at any point without losing an answer. English and Quebec French are written by hand; the other nine are machine-translated and labelled as such, because a client should know which they are reading. Answers are stored language-neutral, so the checklist and the letter come out in the language you choose, whichever one they answered in.

  • Criminality and health can be declined

Both sections open with a plain explanation of why they are being asked, and either can be declined outright. A decline is recorded as a decline, which is a different fact from an answer of No: your view shows a question the client chose not to answer, and the explanation letter leaves the topic out entirely rather than writing around it. You can raise it with them directly, outside a form.

  • Approval produces the paperwork, not an opinion

Generate produces a document checklist grouped by the factors an officer considers, with a reason for every item drawn from this client's own facts, plus a first-person explanation letter marked DRAFT and support-letter templates for a family member, a friend, and an employer. The checklist does not weigh the evidence, score the application, or predict a result, and a check flags any sentence drifting that way before you approve. A permit request is assessed without protection-related risk, so nothing generated here builds the case on it.

  • Encrypted, and filed where you keep the matter

Answers, uploaded documents, and the generated letters are encrypted at rest under your own tenant key. The submitted questionnaire files itself to the matter's client documents folder, and on approval the whole bundle lands in its Application folder on every connected drive. The audit ledger records what happened and when, and never the client's answers.

How it works

  1. 1

From a client with a signed agreement, start a TRP Intake. The page shows any H&C or Express Entry intake already attached to the same matter, prefills what those sources honestly support, and hands you the proposals to review. Then you send the invitation.

  2. 2

The client picks their language, answers at their own pace on any device, confirms or corrects anything carried over from their earlier form, skips the sensitive sections if they are not ready, and submits. Nothing reaches you until they do.

  3. 3

Review their answers, generate the checklist and letters, edit them, then approve. The bundle files to the matter's Application folder on every connected drive.

Pricing

TRP Intake is a Premium module ($69 CAD/mo or $690/yr, 14-day free trial): the form, the prefill from the agreement and from the client's earlier intake, the eleven-language questionnaire, and the approval bundle. This is deliberately different from H&C Intake, whose questionnaire is on every plan and whose AI needs Premium. The AI calls here (drafting answers from the client's earlier words, and generating the checklist and the explanation letter) also count against your daily AI allowance.
