The exam and the practice format
The module targets the College’s November 18, 2026 Specialization Exam. It uses the 2026-002 competency framework and an August 20, 2026 reference cutoff. IRB and Administrative Tribunals carries an 8.8% blueprint weight. The College determines official eligibility, registration and exam arrangements.
The bank contains 800 original bilingual questions: 400 independent questions and 80 cases with five questions each. Each assessment has 190 questions, split equally between independent and case-based questions. Select the best answer from four options.
Each assessment scores 180 questions and includes 10 unscored questions. The unscored questions are not identified during the sitting. Translations do not count as additional questions.
Use the optional learning guide
The Learning guide introduces the exam format, the nine competencies, case analysis, evidence, study techniques and pacing. Read it in any order and return to the sections that match your study priorities. Reading it is not a prerequisite for an assessment.
Search the Cheat Sheet
The Cheat Sheet is a curated index of 33 resources, with a reading goal, a short study task and links for each resource. It helps you find and use official sources; it does not replace them.
Search in English or French, including abbreviations such as IRPA/LIPR, RPD/SPR and IAD/SAI. Quotation marks keep a phrase together; multiple words narrow the results. Filter by competency, IRB division, source type, source language or reading level. Sort by relevance/reading order or title.
Show more resources displays another 12 results when available. Changing the study language preserves your search, filters and the number of visible results. Source-link languages are labelled; bilingual study notes do not mean every source is available in both languages.
Check source versions and the stated cutoff-review status. Current publisher pages may differ from the version applicable to the target sitting. Tribunal rules and official guidance have separate labels; source links open in a new tab.
Learn with guided practice
Choose a competency and answer a teaching question. There are 18 teaching questions, two per competency, separate from the 800 assessment questions. You may record your confidence before selecting Save answer and explain. Feedback appears after your answer is saved.
Retrying preserves your first response while updating your latest response. Progress shows both and highlights high-confidence first responses worth revisiting. Completing guided practice does not unlock an assessment.
Follow the four assessment paths
Open Assessments & history to start available work, resume an attempt or review a completed report. The first three assessments use 570 distinct questions; each contains 190 questions.
Assessment 1, Take stock: an untimed starting point for identifying study priorities.
Assessment 2, Develop your judgment: another untimed assessment to practise applying your knowledge.
Assessment 3, Rehearse the exam: a fixed four-hour simulation.
Assessment 4, Practise with a fresh mix: a four-hour randomized simulation unlocked after completing assessments 1–3. You can repeat it, with questions drawn from the entire bank; some questions may recur.
Save, resume and manage the clock
Answers and flags save automatically. Wait for the saved confirmation before leaving. If saving fails, keep the tab open and retry; reloading the saved version discards unconfirmed changes. If another tab has saved newer work, reload that saved version before continuing.
A timed assessment keeps its original four-hour deadline through breaks, refreshes, language changes and disconnection. Returning after the deadline does not provide more time or allow late answers. Study resources and previous explanations are unavailable through the module during a timed sitting.
After Premium expires, you can finish assessments already started and read completed reports; a timed attempt still keeps its original deadline. New starts, study resources and guided practice require restored paid or complimentary Premium. Membership removal or account/firm suspension blocks access.
Understand your results and privacy
After completion, review the correct answers, explanations, source references and results by competency. Scoring status is then visible for all 190 questions. Use the report to decide what to study next; a practice score does not predict an official pass.
Reports distinguish newly included questions from exact question versions included in your earlier attempts. This does not prove that you read them. Reports also show answer changes and first answers saved in the final hour of a timed sitting. Timing includes breaks and does not measure reading time.
There is no employer results dashboard. Your results are not automatically sent to a tutor. Deleting a login leaves detached history; a new login does not automatically inherit it, even with the same email address. The module currently provides no history-recovery control.
Report a problem with a question
On a completed question’s review screen, select Report a problem with this question. Describe the issue in the form. Your note and its question, version, attempt and account references go to info@investatech.com. Saved answer data is not automatically added to the email; do not include client information in your note.
The limit is five reports per hour and twenty per day. A failed delivery attempt may still count toward that limit. If delivery is unconfirmed, the note stays in the form. Confirmation means the mail service accepted the message, not that someone has already read it.

Use the booking links on the home page or in the guide to arrange an optional one-on-one educational session. Bring a difficult concept, a practice scenario or questions raised by your completed assessments. Prepare your questions and learning goals beforehand.
Choose 60 minutes for focused help or 90 minutes to explore related topics in more depth. Tutoring is booked separately from Premium; the booking pages show current prices and availability. Sessions do not include personal immigration advice, representation or live-file review, and your assessment results are not automatically sent to the tutor.

RCIC App provides original practice content and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College. Its questions are not official or recalled exam questions. Practice results do not predict an official pass, and the College’s four-attempt limit for the official exam does not restrict practice retakes here.
